Pre-Collision System (PCS)
TSS-C

Imagine a car that looks out objects for you and helps avoid making contact by alerting you and even applying the brakes if necessary, this is the Pre-Collision System (PCS) that comes in every Toyota with TSS-C. Cameras, laser and radar all combine to detect vehicles in front of you and can tell when you are getting a little too close.

Lane Departure Alert (LDA)
TSS-C, TSS-P

A carefully placed camera on your windshield keeps an eye on your location and can let you know if you drifted too far from your lane. This is especially handy during poor weather conditions when you cant see as well. Toyota vehicles equipped with TSS-P and Electronic Power Steering (EPS) also come with Steering Assist. These systems allow your vehicle to make small adjustments to your steering to keep you on the right track.

Automatic High Beams (AHB)
TSS-C, TSS-P

Designed to activate when you're driving above 40 km/h , Automatic High Beams (AHB) light up on their own and cut through the dark while keeping easy on the eyes of other drivers. Using an in-vehicle camera to detect lights from vehicles both in front of you, the system will automatically toggle between low and high beam intensities to provide the right amount of light for your situation.

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)
TSS-C

An add-on to standard cruise control, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) allows your vehicle to automatically slow down when encountering slower vehicles ahead. It will keep a tab on its distance and accelerate or slow down automatically based on your proximity. Select Toyota vehicles offer Full-Speed Range DRCC, allowing full dynamic control of speeds between 0 - 177 km/h.

Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD)
TSS-P

Cameras and radar team up to keep an eye around your vehicle for possible collisions with Pre-Collision and Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD). Visual alerts will give you a heads up well ahead of time in course of collision, and if you don't slow down in time it may force Brake Assist (BA) to engage to reduce your speed to reduce severity.
