In 1991, the See Group (owned by brothers Dennis and Albert See Jr.) began its journey in the automotive industry where they continue to be a leader in the Port Alberni area. That year, they started Alberni Chrysler, which laid the foundation of their business within the automotive space.

In 2008 the Alberni Toyota dealership was purchased along with a CAP-It retail parts store in 2011 to round out their portfolio and establish the Alberni Auto Group. The businesses of the auto group are all centrally located in one contiguous footprint in the heart of Port Alberni where the dealerships have over 35 dedicated staff.

In 2022 we rebranded our auto accessories business into Alberni Truck & Overland Accessories which services Vancouver Island with the latest accessories for your vehicle complete with in-store installation

Since then, the Alberni Auto Group have set the bar by continuously investing in their employees, the manufacturers the company represents and their clients. They believe in a long term, relationship driven business which begins and ends with their cornerstone: Trust.

The Alberni Auto Group belief in giving back to the community that supported them which has served to bolster this trust. However, they are by no means complacent. They are always striving to improve on all aspects of the business. *Loaners are subject to availability. We offer complimentary wash and vacuum after every service visit for life. We also offer full detailing services at our Auto spa.

All our departments are open 6 days a week. 8:00am- 5:30pm. We have night key drop for early or late arrivals, with the option of over the phone payments. Complimentary Service Valet. Do you need us to pick up your vehicle from work? Ask us when you book your appointment, and we will be happy to do so.

* This service available to our local area only If you prefer to wait while your vehicle is being serviced, we have a customer lounge equipped with a TV, public Wi-Fi, Shaw on the Go, workstations for your laptop, complimentary beverages, and vending machines. Air Conditioned in the summer and a fireplace for the winter.
